Testimonials

Regular massage therapy from Pip has kept me free of injury for over two years now! I came in as a typical hamstring bothered sprinter and haven’t had a niggle since. My performances have improve significantly from the extra flexibility gains, and I am convinced that without Pips soft tissue therapy I would not have been able to consistently train injury free for the last two years.

For the last six years I have enjoyed the regular therapeutic massage that Pip has provided me. She has been able to understand what is required to keep me both mobile and well. A very skilled therapist, she is able to offer both assistance and help while being interested in finding out what is good for the recipient. It is obvious that she understands a significant amount of what helps to make people feel well. I think she is among a very small group of excellent and effective massage therapists in New Zealand.

I have been going to Pip for the past 3 years for sports massage, when I got introduced to Lymphatic drainage. Pip wanted to see if it would help with recovery and energy levels for my cycling, and I was pretty keen on those results so I gave it a go. Not only was the experience of getting the massage comfortable and enjoyable, the results were awesome. I felt more energized the next day when going out on hard rides and it was as if I was more recovered for the following days training. The other part that I noticed was that I felt less bloated all the time, I would pee for longer and my system just felt cleaner and well-tuned. Thanks Pip for introducing me to this different type of massage, I would certainly recommend this to not only everyday people but to athletes who want to get that extra edge!

Along with getting older has come the realisation that I can no longer simply take good health for granted. I’m not inclined to look for solutions in bottles of pills, preferring to be proactive about lifestyle factors, and I can’t recommend the lymphatic massage from Pip strongly enough as part of that focus.

In late 2012 I suffered from adrenal fatigue, which ultimately led to me stopping running for nearly 18 months.  Pip recommended that I try the Lymphatic Drainage massage to help get my adrenals functioning healthily again.  Right from the first couple of sessions I noticed a difference, with some of the issues I had been experiencing no longer being a problem, my reaction to stressful situations reduced, and after a series of treatments I noticed that my energy levels had improved.

I have also found that having lymphatic drainage has helped me a lot with long distance running.  I would programme the lymphatic massage a few days before a long run, and after a long run or event to aid a speedy recovery.  It would take away that heavy feeling in my legs after a long run and helped me recover much more quickly and continue training after an event or long run. Lymphatic Drainage massage has definitely helped me, and I cannot recommend Pip enough for this.
