Pip Charlton is an experienced, Tauranga based massage and lymphatic therapist.
She is a Masage New Zealand Remedial Massage Therapist, Level 6, (Massage New Zealand), holds a Bachelor Degree in Physical Education (Otago) and works from two Tauranga locations - Judea and NextStep Gym, Hocking St, Mt Maunganui. Pip was for many years the High Performance Sport NZ (HPSNZ) massage advisor and approved massage provider in the Bay of Plenty.
Pip specialises in several types of massage therapy, including relaxation, sports and remedial massage therapy to help with injuries. She utilises a range of soft tissue modalities including myofascial release, scar tissue release, trigger points and has a special interest in, plus experience and success with, providing massage therapy to chronic pain sufferers, people with sedentary lifestyles and poor posture.
Pip also offers lymphatic enhancement technology (LET), a modern day approach to lymphatic drainage that incorporates both traditional manual techniques and new age technology. This can be used to help treat a wide range of health conditions including sinusitis, recovery from surgery, acute sports injuries, digestive issues as well as general health and wellbeing and stress management.
With more than 30 years experience working with elite, competitive, social and non athletes, Pip welcomes clients from all walks of life: young to not so young, active to inactive. She is a strong advocate for everybody to use a proactive approach to health and well-being.
